ABOUT ME
my biography
WELCOME to my page! My name is Tameka and I’m a North Carolina native. I’ve always journaled throughout my life however journaling came full circle once I lost my twins. I needed an outlet and writing about my feelings and what I was experiencing helped me to be able to inspire not only myself but others. I’m the founder of S&K Preemie Love Foundation where we work daily to “Keep Dreams and Aspirations Alive”. In my spare time, I love spending time with family and friends and making others laugh.
“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
THE FIRST BOOK
my biography
My first book came from my journal that my mom gave me. I wanted my journal about my experience to be in book form for me to read later. A friend asked me about my experience, and I let her read my journal. She encouraged me to share.
LOSING A LOVED ONE IS NEVER EASY. Whatever your reading preference, every once in a great while, a book comes along that should be read by everyone. A MOTHER’S PRAYER is just such a book. This book, both inspiring and enlightening, is a personal glimpse into how to deal with and to cope with pain. A Mother’s Prayer offers practical advice for anyone who is or has suffered the pain of losing an infant child, and it provides you with a blueprint for the healing you will need to get your life back on track. The book is an inspirational textbook on how to develop and to nurture your inner resolve to heal. It is like a spiritual reference book that is filled with great ideas and practical day-to-day advice on how to successfully live again after a painful tragedy.
MY CAREER
my biography
I’m currently an assistant principal. Education is my first love. This is where I can reach our youth and inspire the most. I still journal and write in my spare time. I will continue to share my experiences in hopes that it helps someone.
